Lead to the river
Midsummer, I waved
A 'V' of black swans
On with hope to the grave
All through Red September
With skies fire-paved
I begged you appear
Like a thorn for the holy ones

Wow.

If my jaw would still be attached to my skull (thanks to most of your previous works it isn't there anymore) it would break down. :P

I envy you... The brush technique is, needless to say, astounding, particularly on the faces of the characters (dragon included) in the foreground. The usage of progressively less detail as object fade off into the distance is effective both in creating a sense of depth and drawing the eye to the focus (characters). That is supplemented by the usage of contrast in hue and value between the characters and the darkened cliff behind them. It doesn't feel forced, however, and looks very natural, the cliff has a definite form without looking manufactured; further, it's an extremely dynamic image, not only with the movement of the dragons, but also in the faces and poses of the characters. They are all supremely expressive, interesting, and strikingly well proportioned. And from what I can tell, no reference at all, you've acheived a level of skill I dream about daily. I would love to have this on my wall as a testament to the true nature of an artist, one who not only has the mind to create, but also the skill to do so effectively.

Obviously, this is a favorite.
